Dr. Qingshi Tu presented during BBRG meeting

On May 9, 2022’s research group meeting, Dr. Qingshi Tu, Assistant Professor from the Department of Wood Science and the director of Sustainable Bioeconomy Research Group introduced his research work in life cycle analysis (LCA) for biofuel and bioenergy. Dr. Tu discussed the key concepts about LCA, such as system boundary, impact assessment method, and direct applications of LCA in the bioproduct and bioenergy industry. He noted the challenges in modelling biogenic carbon and suggested solutions.
